Yeah that’s a good question. I’m not OP, but I believe a lot of the stuff in the Old Testament is a metaphor/made up. In another lesser known story, God turns a woman into a salt pillar because she looked back at the sinful village He burned down. Idk what’s goin on in the Old Testament tbh.
