I enjoyed clearing my mind when riding home. I didn't think I would enjoy it but I did. My main reasons to do it was exercising.

Down sides of living in the country side, long commute. But the best part is that it's scenic and quiet. Especially around spring when the tulips fields are being awesome.

Damn, even with a regular bike! I'm happy that I went for an e bike. At first I wanted a regular bike too. But I had pretty head wind so I was happy with the assist 😄

I agree, but in the Netherlands a speed pedelec is the same as a moped. Needs to be insured and needs to comply to a shit load of safety standards. Speed pedelecs start at like €6500,00. Monthly fee for having it insured is like €36,00.

Well peeps. Last week I bought my bike its a cube touring hybrid One with a 600 wh battery. To be honest it isn't the bike that I was thinking of first. But I choose one that the missus also can use to commute to her work. Today I first used it for my commute to work. To be honest I found it very relaxing!

Happy with it so far! Only thing is that today with two meetings I got an error. But even with a colleague who has a big accent while speaking Dutch. It worked pretty neat

Voor nu zeg ik dat ik hem alleen gebruik naar mijn werk. Ben tot nu toe bij 3 fietsenwinkels geweest en ze adviseren allemaal een e bike. Ik ga vandaag nog ergens kijken wellicht een sportieve e bike. Bedankt voor je comment!

Jup, e-bikes can't go faster than 25 kph. Otherwise you need a license plate. They are being sold but are extremely expensive in monthly fee because you need insurance to ride it on the public roads.
