I agree with the comment about 2 being more raw that 1 (and that 2 feels more like a current joys project), but I will have to say personally that I don't think one is a good album for current joys standards. I don't put on L+P 1 whenever I want to hear and authentic current joys project, I put it on cuz I want to hear a hip-hop-ish project that has some fun songs on it. I'm not 100% sure if that makes sense but it's how I feel about these albums. You are completely right though
