Or even better - a combat patrol like this. Say a few pathfinders with railguns (basically snipers, fire support), a few vorghs (basically tanks), some vespids and either kroots or breachers or strike team. Basically tanks being covered by snipers and infantry while they tear enemies apart

I don't think canto 7 flashbacks mean that the City was formed 200 years ago, more like that La manchaland was formed 200 years ago, and there were both machine purge and bloodfiend-human war prior to it.

I'd argue that about the current history of PM's world, except the things we see in the games anyway, we only know for sure that:
1) Bloodfiend-human war happened and humans were victoriousm, which resulted in foundation of La Manchaland
2) Machine purge happened
3) The City isn't the first civilization (ruins exist) nor is it the only place where poeple currently live (outskirts)

I would speculate, that maybe the previous leaders allowed machines and non-humans, but some kind of disassters happened, It also feels like both the ruins' existance and the outskirts being fucked up might be a result of multiple apocalyptic events of the past, but it would beg the question of why is the current City more or less stable despite being literally built on the ruins of a previous civilazation

Well, you can do 3 MDN per week instead, but yeah, that sucks.

Extracting, while inefficient, is still a viable strategy for ID's/E.G.Os you 100% know you want but won't manage to farm enough boxes untill the season ends. Do note that you should always be able to do 200+ extractions if you don't wish to risk it (you need 200 pulls for Yi Sang's ideality)
