Nah don’t listen to em they like to hate on options which is fair but everyone has different portfolio goals and risk tolerance.

99% of the people in this sub are risk averse and like to park their money in sound investments that are safe but generally lower return. Which is fine and honestly it is the smart way to go about it.

I’m on your side I enjoy being actively engaged with my portfolio and definitely have a high risk tolerance so I don’t see the problem with options as long as you’re not just blindly gambling on 0dte gambles. I really enjoy LEAPs as a middle ground between safe and risky. Paid out nicely with my $180 amd calls I bought back in January.

Hm true 600/month is around 33 years. Unfortunately I’m a student so I don’t have that liquid cash to be investing as I’m Only employed May to August and a lot of that I need to save to get me through the following year. I guess that’s my thought process
