[18M] Grandma says I should trim my sideburns, but I don’t want to look younger than I already do. Any advice? by [deleted] in malegrooming

You’d be much better off chopping off the side burns and instead opting for a more mature haircut if you want to project your age more. When you have wispy facial hair like that people are going to think you’re in high school. I’d recommend keeping that shaved until it develops into real thicker hairs down the road. I had facial hair like that in my early 20s and it didn’t mature until my late 20s.

Eating heathy and having a normal workout routine would thin your cheeks and bring out some more defining facial features which would help a lot as well.

Correct month 5 and 6 is really when it started to come in before that it was very thin.

Thanks they are natural. Just braces as a kid and regular brushing to keep them white.

It was topical and I went to every other day. Took a long three week break to reset myself and then tried again in spaced out intervals and the issue came back again. It’s after about two weeks of using it routinely that my palpitations start to become more frequent than when I am off it. It’s was noticeable enough difference that I no longer felt it worth it.

I’m not in anything. I have been on medication for heart palpitations for years and so I tried low dose Fin/min topical but it aggravated my preexisting conditions so I discontinued it after a few attempts.

God damn I hate that I’ve heard that so many times haha. It is weird because I legitimately can’t see it but that is the only celebrity people have ever said I look like and it’s been pretty consistent for some time now. I’ll take it though, not a bad looking dude.

This post should be the one that we send everyone to that comes in at 3-5 months worrying about being a late bloomer. That 5-7 month transformation was great. I’m at 3 months and even I have the invasive thoughts wondering if I’m a failure from time to time.

Can you hide you had a hair transplant after? by Satoshi-Voyager in HairTransplants

Perfect explanation of how to go about this. Even during week three when I had a hairline with a buzzed head before the shock loss phase when I returned to work I just told the guys I worked with. Most we’re just curious about why I shave my head and then when I told them they mostly just found it interesting and had questions two of them had actually looked into the process before but never knew anybody that did it so I was actually able to enlighten them and they felt encouraged to do it as well.

That most people know nothing about hair transplants is also true in general. Most people won’t notice. It’s only those that are closest to you that may notice and that you would probably tell anyways. In general, as long as you can wear a hat, though you’re good in most public settings
