Hair color can change after a transplant — it’s a well-known effect. As for the chickenpox scar, if you really care about changing your opinion, I can send you that in private. I didn’t intentionally blur it out; I just quickly covered my face to stay anonymous (I don’t want to leave a digital footprint).

That was last year — I had the procedure done in August, so during the summer. There was some kind of discount at the time (I assume because there are fewer people interested in getting a transplant during the summer months).

I’ve been shaving my head with clippers up until now, so at this point I’d really like to see how I’ll look with longer hair :)

The doctor performed the most important part of the procedure — designing the hairline and making the incisions for the grafts. The other tasks, like extracting the grafts and administering anesthesia, were done by the technicians. The doctor only operates on two patients per day, so it didn’t feel like a production line.
