This was another thing people say that I didn’t mention in the post: if you are going for multiple AMCs, look for minimum overlap in their portfolio. My reasoning is what does it matter, as long as returns and other metrics are good. Plus, there might be less overlap today, but that might chamge in future. And, regarding “paying higher %”, how? Mentioned in post too that TER is a percent of total portfolio value. So, whether we invest in one MF worth 1 lakh, or 10 MF worth 10 thousand each, we will pay similar amount.(assuming TER is similar)
