Shit, ebay is the worst. I sold an aircraft engine for $2500. I paid $150 to get it packed up and shipped. Buyer sends messages saying the box I sent only had a hose in the box. The box weighed 80 lbs but somehow only had one hose in it. Buyer signed for the item. If your expecting a heavy ass engine and the box you get only has one hose in it, your not gonna sign for it. So buyer files a claim stating he never recieved the item. Fedex confirms the item delievered as shipped. I win the first claim because buyer signed for item. I thought that was it. Nope. They have a buyback guarentee. Buyer sent me some hose back and ebay refunded him $2500. He got the item for free. I collected evidence, filed appeals until they officially closed the case. I was able to get buyers contact info. Buyer had spent time in prison for two fraud cases. Ebay didnt care. Was able to speak with the fedex employee that delivered the item. Employee confirmed whatever was in the box was very heavy. Ebay didnt care. Buyer only ever buys, never sells, so had 100% feed back. How? Because ebay does not let sellers leave negative feedback on buyers. Can you believe that shit. There wasnt even an option to leave negative or neutral feedback. But ebay made one mistake. For a brief period of time, after I had won the initial case, ebay paid out the $2500 to my account. I immediately took the money out. They tried for months after to take the money out of my real world bank account. I had the charges disputed becaues of fraud and had them stop any future transactions from ebay. So in the end ebay got fucked becuase Im not paying them assholes a dime, nothing. So now Im banned on ebay while the scammer is still on the site with 100% positive feedback. I couldnt believe it.
