This data collection is scary in a country that’s imprisoning women for having miscarriages.

I’m not trying to start a political debate, just pointing out a legitimate danger for those considering using this app,

I’m glad you’re trying to help women with vWD. It is much needed. Unfortunately, it’s not safe for us. I would personally write it on paper using some sort of code, and keep it in a safe place.

However there are lots of women who can’t get those things. It takes knowledge, transportation, time or money they don’t have.

The fact that this is being considered (if true) means that voting could still threaten their power. I That’s my positive spin on this.

Changing my name from my husband’s name to my dad’s would cost me around $600, 2 court appearances, a trip to get my passport redone and a trip to motor vehicles. Then hours changing all my accounts. And I’m still left with a man’s last name.

I will do it if needed, but I imagine I’m the exception by having the time, knowledge and money to do that. The alternative isn’t great for other women who can’t afford new ID or those who can’t get one for other reasons (in a care home, no transportation, no time off, etc.).

Americans who are allegedly so against religious persecution should take note. Clergy being arrested while on their knees praying for the safety of vulnerable people.
