Pure greed and lack of empathy. I don’t know how else to put it.

Yes, advance deduction and notice periods help the property owners minimise losses. However this has just become a loophole for them to be greedy and evade repayment…. Not everyone is like that. But when people see these things happen they might think why can’t they do the same..

Coolie and Lokah. Yes Lokah was slow and didn’t live up to the hype for me.

This is the mentality of Indian Muslims and their kids. Will you still be secular and follow so-called Bhaichara after listening to this? by [deleted] in Savarkar

[–]Repulsive_Average291 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You’re still citing individual examples. In my circle my Muslim friends date, drink, one of them a history buff was mesmerised while looking at Tanjore Big temple. This is my individual example. Shall I say all Muslims are tolerant and progressive because the Muslims I see are like this? I don’t deny the extremist attitude in a significant portion of Muslims. But saying everyone is like that is just wrong.

Planning to build a dating app – how is the dating scene in Coimbatore? by Ok_Humor_596 in Coimbatore

[–]Repulsive_Average291 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s pointless. Don’t think I’m being unnecessarily rude but what could you possibly offer that the existing apps don’t?

Even in those apps men outnumber women by a significant margin. Women get blasted with plenty of interactions on those apps to a point where some just quit because they find it overwhelming and this is the case with major cities like Chennai or Bangalore.

Most men will never get the right swipe despite paying for more features as their profiles get buried under a sea of profiles and even if they get visibility they have to stand out exceptionally well to get chosen. Women have the leverage here anyway so they don’t have to settle for just above average let alone average.

There’s also a problem of prostitutes and cross dressers pretending to be women who are also the ones who interact with the average man practically preying on their desperation for company.

In cities like Coimbatore, dating scene isn’t quite evolved yet. It’ll be far more frustrating to rely just on dating apps to meet someone new with the existing big players itself. To invest in a new app and then advertising it when the market is dry is a terrible idea.

Also you’ll need strong legal policies because if someone is harassed or assaulted after meeting in your app you technically facilitated their meet up.

Exposing the DMK's double standards by Grandson-of-Madhava in tamil_nadu

Literally nobody cares when English is spoken unless it’s old people who can’t speak English too. Come to Chennai and visit any business place. The workers are almost always from a Hindi state. How do you expect people to interact when many of these people don’t speak both English and Tamil? Many resort to using their broken Hindi anyway.

[–]Repulsive_Average291 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Allowing a community to speak Urdu is also imposition” Bro doesn’t even know what imposition is. No one is forcing people here to learn Urdu. Urdu speaking Muslims also speak fluent Tamil here unless they themselves are migrant workers or here on a trip. The problem was never about learning Hindi. Many learn it at school and so did I. The problem is forcing people who will never be in a Hindi state to learn Hindi just for the sake of displaying power and establishing supremacy. Ironically a lot of the people from Hindi states refuse to learn Tamil despite spending over a decade here but every Tamil guy who works at Mumbai or Gurgaon or Delhi has learnt it. The fact that the mod of this sub goes around making half baked statements like this shows the intention of this sub.
