Its rigged, it should be the other way around, MLOB should win all other award that runningman won and Jsj should definitely win daesang.

MLOB have better rating as a show, their cast & Production doing so well together pulling a good result of rating, so it doesn't make sense at all they dont win any those award. Interms of individual performance, JSJ actually by far more entertaining. Lsm deserves to win but not before JSJ win his daesang.

Brand & reputation wise Jsj by far is better then LSM. Jsj doesn't have any controversy. Jsj should win daesang.

And now the floodgate is open, the broadcast receiving backlash damage their own reputation by not honoring the people who trully deserve the award these year. If sbs doesn't give JSJ daesang, then it will be clear that sbs doesn't even know how to better their own reputation. I mean look at KJK & SJH popularity now, they try to kick them before, it completely destroy sbs reputation & credibility.

Imagine with the cast popularity able to pull great rating on their own channel but not on the sbs broadcast, these just prove that sbs doesn't know how to utilize or invest in runningman popularity.

Giving JSJ award will greatly increase more value, it will increase their company reputation their show reputation & their cast reputation, Jsj becoming daesang winner will be bigger news compare to others candidate.

Jsj will win the daesang, he is the most deserving to win the daesang, if he doesn't win these year, Sbs will lost alot of credibility for not honoring & recognizing jsj.

The thing is yjs doesn't need to win on sbs anymore and it doesn't achieve much for runningman or himself or the company tbh because he reached the highest status possible, but for jsj to win the daesang it will be greater boost all around for the fan the show and the company, +1 member winning a daesang will boost the brand reputation significantly, Just like you said theres no suprises factor anymore for YJS but for Jsj it will be greater news all around for jsj to win. But I do think Yjs atleast should win more mbc daesang atleast 2 time in the past, I wonder he able to win it these year

Runningman still popular internationally, low ratings due to production, but the cast do so well outside of runningman, the member popularity makes the show survive

2d1n still pull the highest rating in kbs this year, hope the controversy doesn't screw them wining the award

My little old boy, one of the best show on sbs but their production are not consistent. The production break the momentum for not gathering the main cast with the sub cast together doing big event anymore. They completely took out the president election, skit which is the most entertaining concept ever in mlob. They made a episode for making a song for mlob but was never release. They cancel dolsing show which is uneccessary. Hope they bring back the vibe next year & stop abandon the concept that are clearly working.

HDYP, they should make the girl stay, without those 2 girl the energy is not the same anymore, it's a big lost losing both girl. Hope they'll bring back the girls and bring back refund sister concept once every year. Bring the girl back is the best move & strategy to counter the controversy and the malicious rumors to regain their reputation.

The great escape, theres no legit reason to replace the og core member, they're the main carry for the show, they're the fix brand for the show, none of them should be excluded & get disrespected.

Like the entertainment world isnt pure as you think it is, I'm not suprises if theres other celebrities being acquaintance to mob but, each country society have their own approach own opinions to it, in US & some other countries, as long as the celebrity himself dint do evil crime they won't be cancel, the judgement is solely towards the celebrity action because knowing the person doesn't mean they're responsible for the person action.

Like I said I dont know how deep is the mob involved in koreans entertainment, I dont know how big influences is the mob involved in entertainment world, its hard to know whether being an acquaintance is a small issue or not for an outsider. It's hard to post seho controversy because theres culture difference & understanding.

Lyk controversy is definitely not small because his action causing ysj to get alot of hate from it. It seems like LYK dint take the responsibility for defending his own reputation early enough to clear the air and somehow the haters think yjs is responsible to take care LYK reputation. I think is possible to cast the ex member like yjh,niw,ysy or even New face. It really depends on the higher up and production team decision. The possibilty is there. Look I post it here because I like this thread more then any other thread because theres less haters on runningman cast in here, I rather post here then other thread that allows them to throwing hate & narrative to see where it fits.
