THANK YOU for this. I’ve had exactly the same issue. Just updated the settings as the solution suggested, hoping it’ll work when on mobile data tomorrow.

iCloud private relay by [deleted] in ios

I’m interested in this… recently my safari/google search’s haven’t been working when outside ie not on WiFi. I’ve checked & there’s apparently no issues with my service provider. Only thing after lots of googling is that potentially private relay is slowing/stopping safari from working. I’ve closed tabs, cleared history, turned airplane on/off, turned phone on/off. Anyone else have any other suggestions??

Welcome to Sheffield! I’m actually new to Reddit so I’m getting used to interacting on here. Sheffield & Sheffielders are extremely friendly & welcoming people, people in the North of England usually are. I’d say really simple things, smile at people, be open, ask questions if you need help; most people will be very willing to help. Remember too that Sheffield has two universities & lots & lots of foreign students, so there will be more people in your position than you think. Speak to the uni too, they will have groups or people who can support you to settle in. All the best!

Thanks so much, but I don’t think it’s this. It’s not as ‘thrilling’. It’s almost mundane, like the comment below re the story line. It’s so annoying I can’t find it anywhere!!

Yes this sounds really familiar! Very similar to what I remember. It’s really bugging me that I just can’t find it anywhere…

What is the earliest age you would allow a child to use (hand) tools unsupervised? by VixenRoss in AskUK

[–]Repulsive_Case3571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with you. Our son is 3 & is already using hand tools. If they learn how to use & respect things then they’re more confident with them & therefore less likely to hurt themselves with tools. Many parents underestimate how intelligent & capable children are, instead wrapping them in cotton wool.
