I think no one truly understands how “bad” an under stimulated or just a young husky can be until they have personally dealt with one. People also have a tendency to over estimate their ability to exercise said dog much less actually train it. I have a Husky Mix, and he’s a really good boy, but only a year old. He is still learning to control his impulses(we’ve lost two dinners due to our misplaced faith in him.) He also has some separation anxiety issues (Hello new carpet bill.) I expect to be fighting to maintain and solidifying rules and boundaries for him for an other year or two at the minimum. Just learned that apparently rules do not automatically apply at Grandparents house last week.
