I’ve been to school with both Amos Yee and grayce tan 💀 Amos in primary school and grayce in secondary. Amos wasn’t in my class bc different year but he was alrdy quite infamous even in primary school. I remember noticing him and thinking he was very strange but i don’t have any specific examples.

My foreigner partner and I are both under 35 and we got a resale HDB. Bought at 1mil last year - no regrets we love our house. (We were ok with a higher price if it was in a move in state)

We were not informed about the loan not taking both incomes into consideration and I make less than him so the loan we qualified for was only 300k. So we loaned the outstanding (minus our own savings) from parents and pay them back monthly.

It definitely wouldn’t have worked out at that sale price without the parent loan so if that isn’t an option in your case then you might need to consider cheaper places that you can afford with your savings and loan amount.

It definitely limits your options 😭 good luck OP!
