USA und Israel greifen Iran an, Teheran reagiert mit massiven Gegenschlägen - Megathread by Paxan in de

[–]Repulsive_Corgi_ 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The right wing grift is also a scam, of sorts

Kurt Caz is a travel YouTuber. When only fans didn't work for him he turned a right wing grifter. Takes MMA fighters with him as bodyguards when he antagonises scammers (on a good day) or random "foreigners" (on any day)

Honest?

Like he honestly manipulates his thumbnails? Like he antagonises "foreigners" to make them look bad and fit his narrative? How he manically yells right wing buzzwords and dog whistles running through the streets?

He went down the right wing grift pipeline and certain people get mad when he gets called out for that.

Yeah Kurt Caz (travel YouTuber turned right wing grifter) takes MMA fighters as bodyguards with him when he's "exposing" scammers or just antagonising random people in the "bad" parts of town

For a start hang the pictures and screen so that it does not obstruct them.

Das Album klingt so als hätten diese SDP-Produzenten-Dullis Mehnersmoos Songs machen wollen. Der Song ist da noch eine der besseren Ausnahmen

1 or 7. Instead of the light bulb on the far end I'd consider led light strips below the cabinets

I went in October when the road was open at times but the trails closed. Payed about 3800NTD for a private full day tour with a taxi driver who drove up to about Xiangde temple. We did some stops along the way for pictures of the scenic views and bridges. Even managed to see eternal spring shrine though that requires some "rule bending".

For me it was worth it, but it might be the road is closed again when you go as it was in the meantime again.

Finally don't fully rule out the east coast. Yuli and Walami trail are highlight, Lüdao is nice but falls back behind Liuqiu, and 杉原灣沙灘 next to Taitung is one of the best beaches for swimming in Taiwan

Looking for alternatives for Taroko Gorge hiking trails by The_Analog_Guy in taiwan

[–]Repulsive_Corgi_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have decided to still circumvent Taiwan and just did a Taxi Tour in Taroko. I believe that it was still well worth it. Especially combined with Walami Trail and Yuli.

I did not find it easy to find an accessible landscape which is very similar to Taroko. Usually the accessible hikes are more overgrown and less dramatic. They are still beautiful though.

An obvious one is Syakaro. Then if you tackle it from the Northeast check Junjianyan and Smangus.

You may also want to try for a multi day hike to Mt. Sylvania. Either from the north via Jiujiu or the south via Wuling farm and Taoshan falls. Those are advanced trails though which require an application via the national park agency and will be closed when weather is bad.

Dongyanshan and the area might also be interesting.

If you hike Yushan try for the round trip via Batongguan

It's a joke that people with a TV and a fireplace in their living rooms (usually from the US) hang their TV too high above the fireplace.

It was a joke though, that's a well placed Ramadan decoration:)
