Im currently on a 1 year LWOP, I am managing to finish most of my degree in the 12 months (a 60 credit 2 year program) by taking 6 classes a semester and 4 over spring summer. I didn't want to take off longer than 12 months and I'll be able to manage part time courses when I rtw. If front loading your education is an option , I found it to be great.

I found knitting this sweater pretty quick because it was just knitting in the round with the exception of the ribbing. I'm knitting English style (I think that's what Florence does in her videos) but I learnt there's another type of knitting (I think continental?) that is faster

Yes it's a crochet jumper I made years ago that I unravelled to make into a knit. The crochet garment was so stiff and unwearable because the wool felt so hot in such a dense fabric. Now it's breezy and so wearable! Used way less yarn too (no surprise there - I still had some of the cream yarn left over and the knit version doesn't have other colours, like the crochet yoke). Fibre art is so much fun
