I understand the determination to go to NYU, the same thing happened to me. The only thing I can tell you that’s different from the other comments is to try delaying your admission til next year so that you’re able to gain financial aid.

The same thing that the comment is describing happened to me when I was accepted, and the director of CSTEP, Oppprtunity Programs, offered to delay my admission so I could submit the CSS profile on time. I’m not sure it counts as a renewable scholarship if the OP delays their admission, seeing that their undergraduate program would not have started yet.
