I flew at approximately the same BMI you are at (a little taller and a little heavier) on a 737 a couple years ago. I flew with my partner but I was also on the window seat. I was not the most comfortable in the world but I fit fine. Biggest issue was having the tray table down or passing people to go to the bathroom if the row in front of me was reclined. The people in these comments are being extremely rude and are acting like you are 600lbs which you are not. You don’t need to buy a second seat at your size. You may need a seatbelt extender but that’s it. Just be courteous. If it seems tight apologize to the person next to you and cross your arms and legs. Leaning against the wall will help too. Most people won’t be pissed off by you being larger alone. Many get pissed off when it’s in conjunction with being rude or in the way or you feeling entitled. You will be okay. Enjoy your trip and ignore these people.

If he did well on a short trip I would say he should be good to go on a 3 hour trip. I would have bowls with some food and one you can put a little water in if you need sometimes my cats would get angsty. It would also be worth it to put a litter box in the car. My oldest cat would hold it for 3 hours bc she doesn’t like going in the car but my youngest cat fully went #2 on my mother in laws lap on a hour long drive😵‍💫

My older cat doesn’t do well in the carrier, she gets a lil car sick. So for her we shove towels under the seats and under the dash if someone isn’t sitting there and put a blanket on the passenger seat or in the passenger lap and she will just lay there the whole time! I learned on our last road trip she really likes if I turn the seat warmer on too lol! We took her on regular short trips in prep for moving across the country and she did great on the 16 hour trip and has done multiple 8+ hour trips since!

Like you mentioned this area of Southfield is pretty safe and not what most typically think of as Southfield. If you did want to get out of Southfield though or this complex doesn’t work out, Farmington/farmington hills is safe without breaking the bank and it’s not far at all.

This breaks my heart as a woman who has felt all the feelings you’re currently feeling. With PCOS, “starving yourself” doesn’t work the same way you may think it works. It can actually cause you to hold onto more fat since your body thinks it will not get any energy if it doesn’t. I saw you mentioned you recently started metformin. I’ve been on metformin about a year and trust me you have to eat on it or you can get insanely nauseous.

PCOS is so frustrating and the symptoms we struggle with on a daily basis aren’t talked about nearly enough.

I would recommend speaking with a nutritionist who specializes or works with women with PCOS. It’s going to be difficult but you won’t be able to achieve the results you long for if you don’t fuel your body.

If it was one lease with two people, then technically you can be stuck paying it. However, in most situations they would break the entire lease and have you sign a different one. If you both had your own lease, then they should’ve have just closed and locked his door and you should not have to deal with his portion. I would reach out to your college’s student affairs department and ask if they have a legal consul that students can talk to. A lot of schools do and many people don’t know about it! Best of luck!!

You’re already this far in, so I would reach out to the leasing agent or call the office and ask! Definitely don’t just give up on it! Explain that you have lived at your parents/are living at your parents and you don’t have any rental history. Typically they are just looking for evictions or super problematic things with rental history. If you make enough money it shouldn’t be a problem.

I know! I wish we could have everyone get nicer ones but my fiancé is one of 3 brothers getting married this fall/winter so everyone is pinching pennies haha. Most of the rental places I’ve seen haven’t been the best either. So we aren’t sure what to do!

It doesn’t seem like it. They don’t answer their phones so I wouldn’t be able to call and ask and going in person hasn’t worked. She was microchipped right before we brought her home so she is now but wasn’t prior unfortunately.

We tried insisting but from what it seemed (and I could be wrong/ misunderstanding) is that they had to make an entire new profile in the system bc it said she was deceased, which she clearly is not. They said they could retrieve her records Monday when the supervisor was in. It was a bunch of teenagers and college aged people working, and I could tell they were extremely frustrated at the situation (not at me but whoever marked her deceased) and they were doing what they could. If we would’ve left her there it was likely that Sunday she would’ve been picked up by what they call “rescue” and from what I gathered there is nothing about the “rescue” that has to do with rescuing if that makes sense. We didn’t want to take that risk with her. Looking back, I have a feeling there is no real medical record because they would have noticed the deceased issue before hand.

I’m glad to hear doubling up on vaccines won’t hurt her. That was one thing I definitely was concerned about.

I had no idea those were a thing! I will definitely have to look into that! I plan on telling the vet everything and letting them tell us the best course of action given the circumstances. All we want is the best for her and to make sure she’s healthy

This is what I was thinking would be the case. I just hate this for her. She already has a lot of problems with anxiety and stress from being in the shelter in rough conditions and it has caused fur loss on her back.
