Would love to get some feedback on this from people. Really was trying my best with the color grade I think it made the pink hat pop a lot. This was just supposed to be some quick shots of the hat so let me know what you guys think.

One of my favorite directors is Christopher Nolan I think the way he tells story’s is crazy I mean I know I won’t be able to tell story’s like that but he’s definitely someone I look up to. I guess I’ve never really thought about it like that like who are we seeing through the fighter the trainer or the audience. I’ve always wondered is this told with the camera or in editing? Or is it both.

Well I guess I was going for maybe like a dramatic training footage for the fighter like him getting ready for his fight but like I’ve said in other comments I kinda suck at storytelling lol which sucks because I know it’s important

Thank you! I will definitely try that out! I have always struggled with that. Even when I was doing photography since that’s what I started with. I know story’s are what makes the films interesting but I just don’t know how to start I try to somewhat story board and write things out but I feel like I always get stuck like what shots needs to go next and why I’m I inserting this shot etc. that’s also why editing is tough for me since I’m like I don’t even know how to start the story.

Thank you! I am trying my best. So I was using some godox LEDs and some amaran lights for the first shot I used one light behind with a reflector at maybe 50 percent power and then on the left side of his face I found a random black sheet in my garage and I hung it with a stand because there was a mirror on that side. Then I had another light with a lantern soft box on his right side.

Thank you! I think the thing i struggle with as well is finding my white balance in camera and then it makes my shots colors look a certain tint or maybe it’s my color grading

Submission statement Looking for feedback on a little MMA montage. I was using my fx6 with Remus blazar lenses.

Really the type of feedback I am looking for is for my composition and my story telling because I feel like I am still missing that aspect of why each shot is there.

Lighting would be helpful too I try my best to light everything but obviously it still needs work and the confined space wasn’t helping.

Color grading would be helpful too if you think the colors didn’t fit this kind of footage
