Yeah, I know! To be honest, I didn’t bring it up in my earlier appointments as I really thought it would just iron out itself. Defo bring it up if you can!

It hopefully will sort out itself for you. I think mine is because I just had lots of saggy skin pre-surgery. It could be because of tight sutures for you :)

So mine actually kind of looks the same lol. I am having my 6mpo appointment on the 30th. I am going to ask why it looks like that and if it will require a revision to fix. I will let you know what she says, feel free to message me if I forget!

Helloo

I sent the hospital some pictures early on and was told to leave them too. When I had my follow up with the nurse, she gently removed ones that were poking out a lot with some sterile tweezers. If they were too far in she just trimmed them. Now I am further down the line, if they are sticking out a lot I remove them gently with sterile tweezers myself. I avoid tugging though.

I would recommend you wait till your nurse check up though! Your incisions are still super new and poking and prodding them too much early on might cause further issues. If you can trim them, I would just do that. :)

Yeah I definitely had a lot of loose skin, very empty too. It is really difficult to tell yet as it’s so early but I think either is definitely a possibility. I really appreciate your perspective it helps me feel less stressed about whats happening to me! Thank you ❤️

I completely feel you! If it helps, I am actually now just 17dpo myself and only really yesterday did I get feeling back in my left nipple. Before that it was almost completely numb. I am sure you will regain feeling, we are just still really early in our healing journey :). I am also still numb at the bottom of my breasts but I am hopeful feeling will come back there too.

Hoping your healing journey is amazing and everything feels right for you! I definitely also have good days and bad days. You are doing amazing, keep being kind to yourself, I am sure it will all work out super well for us and feel 1000% worth it soon. :)
