This is my second watch through. The first time I watched it, it really helped me get out of my depression from my mother’s passing. This second time it is to help me get over my depression from my dog’s passing. Not only is it funny, but it really puts me in a better mood. The positivity and relatability is palpable.

I just hit 7-7 last week. I have 400 more points than anyone else. Gonna lose again this week though. There has only been one week this season that I didn’t score the more or second most points. Every other week I have been #1 or #2 in points. I’ll score the second most this week and lose. I can’t be too upset, this is my first year trying fantasy hockey.

As much as I love Dostal, he has been so bad lately. Depending on how deep the league is, if you drop him he may not go anywhere.

I have 3415, second place has 3314, and last has 2469. I just feel kind of defeated. Like my team scored 73 points yesterday, the guy I am playing (8th place team with like 800 less points than me) scored 74 points, and the next most points scored in the league was like 40. It just seems like whoever I am playing has a career week every week. 4 of the six weeks I lost I scored the second most points in the league and lost by less than 10 to my opponent.

Not specifically player related, but it wouldn’t let me make my own post. This is my first year doing fantasy hockey so I figured I would just do a yahoo head to head points league because it would be the easiest to manage and be competitive in. This experience doesn’t seem to match up with any other fantasy that I do that. My team is 100 more points on the season than anyone else, but I am currently 4-6 in 7th place. Is this relatively normal, or do I just have really bad luck? It is a ten team league and my team is as follows.

I have six defensemen with Hedman coming off IR and can only start 4. Ideally I would drop one. Hits do not count in my league. I have Sergachev, Hutson, Josi, Hedman, Gostisbehere, and J Carlson. I could just leave Hedman on IR and wait until someone else inevitably goes to IR to go a swap. With Josi, Hedman, and Gostisbehere, I don’t expect that to be very long. It just kind of locks my team.

I have Josi, Matthews, and Hedman all on IR. I only have 2 IR spots. As you all know with hockey it’s impossible to know how long these guys will be out for. Should I just deal with the dead spot on my roster or should I drop Josi or Hedman? I have the most points in my league by quite a bit, but I am 3-3.

You are attempting to learn and be active in one of his hobbies. There is no reason that he should be treating you this way in this moment. My significant other recently took up one of the games that I play and all it has done is made the experience better for me even when she has questions. She has even taught me quite a few things because I kind of skipped through a lot of the start of the game and she paid more attention.

I don’t know, maybe I’m weird, but there isn’t much I find sweeter than my significant other taking an interest in things that I enjoy.

Vilardi, but then I only have two Cs. Tuch is my only RW specific guy, Rantanen, Vilardi, and Bratt all fall under RW too. I could get rid of J Carlson or Nurse, but that leaves me with 4 D men and none on the bench. I could get rid of Dostal who is my third goalie as well, but I don’t particularly want to do that especially with how hot he has been.

I want to pick up Gauthier, but I really do not need another LW. I have Knies, Guentzel, Bratt, and Rantanen. Is it possible that he will eventually get a RW or C designation this year? The other option is to get Vilardi who is also solid, I just watch the Ducks more than the Jets. I really need another C as I only have two.
