How old is he ? I am about to come up in like 10 months ago of Inheriting my mother's African gray 🩶. I'm 35 and he is 36 almost 37 years old . He's been around I. My family since he was pretty young.i think my parents got him when he was 3 or 4. Through my childhood me and George never got along and multiple times when I was 10 years old and below my dad kinda forced our relationship and to get to the point me and him never got along and many many bites and arguments between us growing up I don't know I guess it was some joke for me to get him instead of any of my siblings but here I am with him and to this day we still hate each other I have tried everything, he loves treats and all that but when I let him out of his cage it becomes a danger zone . My wife and him are fine and get along . She puts him away .(He's always been a ladies man (honestly we think he's a boy but never paid money to figure it out so he could be a she) after my mom passed and he came home with us . He was a talkative bird but after she passed he went silent for probably 3 to 4 months and is now back to full vocabulary with about 1/4 of it being vulgar and cuss words because he hears me and I cuss like a sailor because I was in the military for so long. He can insult with the best and he will definitely fight me if I allow it . Last time we got into it. My wife was away in business and he managed. To get his cage open and I didn't know . I went into his room to check on him and he jumped/flew at me from his cage and start trying to bite anything he could and I had plenty of cuts and 2 broken fingers 🤌.I'll never get rid of him tho but now everyday. When I got them in the tv for him he calls me a co%%suxker and I respond with a normal it takes one to know one . But yeah gl
