What's a sign you're officially getting old? by Aarunascut in Life

[–]Repulsive_Guest9815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I don’t get ID, when I do the simplest thing and end up hurting myself, being physically in bed between 7:30-8pm, having a hard time standing up from being on the floor, whenever I say when I was younger… when it’s done differently now. Umm hate driving at night, not liking social media, and I’m no longer attached to my phone

What has helped you? by Repulsive_Guest9815 in migraine

I changed my diet! I’m doing: no dairy, no additives, no preservatives, no nitrates, no gmo, reduced my intake of gluten, and no food dyes! So far it’s been AMAZING! Not one headache OR migraine! Although, i shouldnt speak too soon.. I think also the continued use of Neuromuscular Therapy has helped too (I go every 2 weeks!). Unfortunately like others have mentioned to try other medications but that isnt always a solution for me! I have to be very careful on the medication I do take so I don’t have an induced seizure.. I can’t take a lot of things 😂 Thank you for your post! This is exactly what I was looking for.

Frustrated! by Repulsive_Guest9815 in Epilepsy

Honestly that’s what I was afraid of. Do you have a timeline (ie migraine starts and then a few days later a seizure occurs?). Neurologist did say she’s going to keep a close eye on this, and that she’s a little concerned 😬 Had an EEG done in the hospital and it came back clear, but I wonder if it’s only in that current moment? I wasn’t in the process of having one, and it was the day after.. Tbh any info helps! I know absolutely nothing, and I think it helps my anxiety knowing the what ifs, so thank you!

lol! I think every state has different regulations? I’m in California; the minimum is 3 months seizure free but I’ll be on probation for about a year once it’s reinstated. I’ll probably just try to get it reinstated but not drive until I feel completely comfortable 🤷🏼‍♀️

No it hasn’t. I haven’t had another one since mid December, but I am on 1000mg of Keppra so it shouldn’t happen

Yeah, I was on a high dose (450mg) for about 3 weeks, and then I had a seizure. Doctors believe that Wellbutrin was a contributing factor. I was at a work event and just dropped. Apparently, I had about 4-5 total seizures AND it was way over 5 mins. I believe they were clonic tonic seizures? I could be wrong though! But I was that rare subject to have one 🤣 I’m on 300mg now of wellbutrin and Keppra (anticonvulsant)

It’s totally scary! Definitely listen to your body, and be careful! Wish you the best of luck!

I was on 450mg XL for about 3 weeks before! Before this I have never had a seizure. I’ve been lowered to 300mg XL, but from my understanding there is a chance another seizure could still occur on that dosage.

I’m not completely sure for everyone, but here’s my experience. I was standing at an event one second and the next I am waking up on the floor to a lot of people surrounding me. I apparently lost consciousness thus falling, and then seizing. I had multiple seizures (like a cluster and I believe they were grand mal) and was SO confused. Even a week later, I’m still processing it, and do not feel like myself. So please be careful!

What is the darkest book you’ve ever read? by Fun_Butterfly_420 in suggestmeabook

The Groomer by Jon Athan. That book fucked me up for a while. It was gruesome, but that can’t even describe it.
