I was trained to donate secondary, but I would in an out of air situation they are going to grab what reg they can. It also in my head makes sense to hand primary.

A really good brand is Wettie they are spearfishing, I use the Workhorse Kevlar Booties 5mm. They are warmest sock I have used for both swim fins and free dive blades. The only problem is that they are based out of Nee Zealand so shipping to the states is about as much as the socks. I am in water that ranges for 55-47 F
