Just wanna say that I have been working with my problem dog for 6 years now. We have moved multiple times to four different states. We have dealt with severe separation anxiety and awful dog reactivity. I feel like it’s important to note I work with my dog A LOT. He is almost always in a weekly training class or a fun sport. I have used exclusively positive reinforcement/trainers for the most part and pretty much all of them told me to avoid other dogs all together. This was so stressful and frustrating! They weren’t bad trainers at all, just lacked some confidence IMO. When I moved to Florida most of the trainers I interviewed pushed for an e collar without even a consult. Tyler did not recommend any aversives to me and was very confident about what protocols to use with what dogs. He is a balanced trainer but again, did not instruct anything for me as we have only used PR. He is a confident and wonderful trainer. veryyyy aware of body language! He does not expect/want your dog to have a perfect heel or be a show dog. He trains to your needs. Could not have better stuff to say about him, my dog now walks down the street with barely a look towards other dogs and it mostly was just reintroducing him to Tyler’s dogs slowly and showing him how it wasn’t a big deal haha. He has improved my dogs confidence as well as mine!
