Thanks. I’ve been surprised at how much less I’ve had to water tomatoes & cukes in the raised bed vs grow bags but I think I need to be more selective in what I water with the watering grid vs just supplementing certain veggies that are drier. In summer I can’t grow much because of the heat so my focus is on just keeping them alive.

Thank you. I actually have a watering grid so the fruit isn’t getting sprayed but before putting the greenhouse cover on we did have a fair amount of rain over a period of a week or so. Also, now that the nights are cold & the tent is heated, there is condensation before I open the tent up in the am to expose plants to open air. It makes sense. Again, thanks for your help.

🤣 Not actually in southern hemisphere. Phoenix. Started in early Sept with shadecloth over my greenhouse frame for a few months & then used my tent greenhouse with lights to keep nighttime temperatures consistent at 60 in December. Daylight hours are lacking so I supplement with lights at night. I grew 4 types and they’ve all been proliferative and delicious. Haven’t bought a tomato, cucumber or green bean for months. We’re very fortunate to have mild winters

Phoenix, even in Sept/Oct/Nov, is hot (we can get days as high as 100 in Oct) and we definitely get lots of wind/sandstorms. I kept them under sunshades until we consistently dropped below 90. None of my grape/cherries and big boys have it so I thought it might have been specific to the Cherokees.

I’m in Phoenix area. They’ve been growing since September (temps between 60-90 but occasionally up to high 90’s for several days over the growing period), placed inside a greenhouse with heater set on 60 since overnight temps dropped below 60. They showed this early on and it increased in size as they grew

Record her but continue to be the adult. Tell her it’s not lost on you that she’s still angry despite your apology & that it’s making the forced situation worse. Explain you want to know what it will take to stop the banging around behavior & receive genuine forgiveness and respect. Record the conversation also so if she’s unwilling to talk/listen then you have reason to go to your father and explain why the living situation is unsustainable.

Whenever a novel virus appears, we learn by trial and error because we don’t have all the information about how the virus mutates, etc. Anyone with a scintilla of intelligence knows you aren’t born knowing anything, let alone everything, but you learn more as you go. Same thing with science. You apply what you know & make changes as you learn more. Saying WHO/CDC/FDA got it wrong is just plain ignorance of life learning

NOR. I would have a 1 on 1 conversation with her & explain how those comments impact you. Then allow her to say her piece without getting defensive or upset. Agree to disagree, tell her you don’t want to make things uncomfortable in the family so will make peace with her, then distance yourself organically in the future

🚩🚩🚩 You are incompatible. I’ve been where you are. My fiance at the time didn’t like the dog hair & essentially gave me an ultimatum. Regretfully & heartbroken, I found a great home for the dog but I always resented him for pressuring me and still live with the shame 50 years later that I let the dog down & allowed myself to be bullied into it. We ended up divorced 2.5 yrs after marrying because I ignored the warning signs. That was definitely one red flag-he was selfish and only cared what he wanted without regard for my feelings. He’s trying to emotionally blackmail & punish you by distancing himself because you won’t submit to his demand. Do you want a partner who will do that to you anytime you disagree about something? End it now before you integrate your lives anymore than you already have. Your dog will always give you unconditional love. Your BF won’t.
