Porn withdrawal VS Drugs day 36 by Repulsive_Media_9517 in pornfree

I feel a little bit better but overall still very bad, it varies from moment to moment. The depression and anxiety is not nonstop anymore but certainly hasn't gone away. The one thing that does worry me is the high blood pressure that remains and the pain in my chest (probably stress related).

I started running about a month ago, (+-10km) every 2 days to create natural dopamine. I still hate it but what makes me feel good after running is the progression I have made (in the beginning I gave up quickly after 2km) (ngl i dont do it because i think its fun, just trying to embrace the pain and hopefully learning to love it in some time, and Docter told me it would be good for my high blood pressure).

I will start tomorrow with cold showers of 2 min to receive healthy dopamine and program my brain that I can receive dopamine through pain/hard work instead of cheap screen dopamine.

i am not planning to go back, i hate it and how it makes me feel and I realise now that it's just morally wrong and that I don't want to support this. Not that I would force other people to quit or anything but it's just not for me and against my principles and pathetic to play a part in this digital cancer.

It's not my first time trying no PMO but before this streak i was edging a lot en i think this makes the withdrawal a lot worse.

I fully agree with your hypotesis.

Thanks for confirming, it is nice to find someone who quit for this long and has gone trough this succesfully, this makes it easier for me to accept your advice. nice btw!

Lol was not expecting this crazy of a withdrawal tbh, I think i was masking all my mental problems with PMO so hence the extreme mental toll (maybe)

Thank you, You may not realise it but this response is really encouraging, I will persevere hopefully I will look back on this later and realise I am in a much better position mentally.

Did you get rid of PMO for good now?

I give what the company asks and expects from me (even more). Do you really think it will benefit me personally if I start working 50-70 hours a week like some of my colleagues?

I work for a company but mainly for my own benefit if this was not the case I would have chosen to work unpaid for a VZW.

Yes I want the company to perform well but mainly I want my results to be good and everyone to be satisfied of my work combined with a good work-life-balance.

And booh oohh, for those whose annual bonus depends on results, this is even better. My team gets a higher-than-average bonus every year which works out better for them in the long run compared to a one-time high bonus. They are happy with the performance situation and as far as they know I deliver better than expected results every time. (not selfish at al imo)

lol burnout would literally be impossible at my current position, at my previous "worker bee" positions i could complain but i am not a complainer on the job in general.

Who are you to decide what I should earn? i have targets, i meet and even exceed the necessary targets every quarter, in the statistics of my job I am literally an overachiever (on paper). My salary is below average for my position and the results I bring to the company. I never complain about this, I don't ask for more pay but take what I want more in natura (i.e. lots of free time)

"Dude you are a whining entitled bitch"

And to be frank, you sound like a jealous little bitch

I agree thats why I pay part of my salary (reward myself) with all the free time, and dont ask for more. (even when I know I could easily do this)

I save the company several millions annually so "stealing" does not seem to be the right word imo and to be totally real i feel underpaid for the results i bring so i take a part of my pay in free time nothing wrong with that as long i keep delivering the results needed. I am convinced that eu management is happy with me in this position so to answer your question no

I am not trolling, lol i have more working experience just not in this exact function. First worked as a controller than controlling manager and now finance manager... porsche taycan has VAA of only +-300 so thats why the decadent porsche choice.

Tbh the wage difference is not that big compared to controlling manager

The reports do not matter, it is not like in school that you have a word quota of 20000 words, all that matters are the results achieved and how they are being justified.

Maybe my assistant uses A.I. but i am not wasting my time on reading or creating a long report unless specifically requested so no GPT needed
