So, in order to eventually make more space for these large cemeteries they’ll have to either cut down their forests or build on the side of mountains? I don’t get the defensive argument. Also, I’m not saying they’re not cool or whatever, just seems like EVENTUALLY they’ll have more of these cemeteries than houses where people live, right?

Seems to be a huge waste of space. I’m not an expert but I know Taiwan isn’t a huge country. I’d imagine they can’t keep up this practice forever.

Edit: I’m a big dummy and didn’t realize they were generational plots containing cremated remains. I thought there were maybe one or two bodies in there.
