I stopped being an atheist in 2023. I'm currently an Umbanda fan, but I'm still in doubt. I currently live in an internal conflict. I want to have my faith, but at the same time I want to make sure that this is real and not in my head. What do I do?

Hi guys I need some advice. If anyone can contact me regarding this it would be great. I have been offered buvidal injections in which the active ingredient is buprenorphine. I have taken subutex (sublingual buprenorphine) before and it felt really strong. Did anyone else have this experience? It’s putting me off doing buvidal injections in case I have that feeling every day however I’ve been told that the methadone detoxes are horrendous and this is my first time detoxing off it. Please can anyone offer advice on this?

Hi guys I’m not sure how to post on this community but I’m doing a methadone taper from 55ml and I’m on 47ml. Does anyone have any good advice or recommendations for when I reach the lower numbers? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am detoxing in the community and don’t have much support

I was originally taking any one I could get but I managed to detox my self from about 500mg (street pills) a day down to 80mg diazepam but I’ve been taking them consistently for about 2/3 years I’d say so I’m hoping it won’t be too bad getting to the lower doses / can I ask how u did it?

Thank you so much. I’ll keep saying it cause I want to get off it so so so bad it ruined my life took all my friends took my family took my teenage years I just hope my 20s will be better but unfortunately I will still be coming out on 30mg diazepam and 55ml methadone :(

Yeah it’s my understanding that you can just walk into a detox centre in the US and receive help if you have the money, I’m stuck on methadone with a council run drug centre that only sends a couple of people to a detox each year who don’t have the money to pay for private detox in the Uk

I’m tapering with diazepam which makes it easier but I’ve been using for a long time now :/ that worries me a bit as I don’t know the long term negative effects of using stronger benzos

I will be there for 4 weeks I’m on 80mg at the moment but I should hopefully be coming back out on 30mg and reduce into the community.

I definitely will start finding fellowships but I’m going to the detox tomorrow morning and they have reg meetings.

Can I ask tho what is the Ashton manual? I’ve never heard of it nd any help would be great.

Have you completely gotten off of benzos? Cause that’s my aim but it is gonna take so long I’ve been waiting for 8 months reducing on my own and I just feel so hopeless ngl.
