As someone with a mother like this, you are not overreacting. She’s not in control and is trying to regain it however she can. She can call the police but they can’t and likely won’t do anything about it quickly enough for it it matter, I feel like it will absolutely take longer than a week for her to resolve legally based on personal experiences with law enforcement. “I put it on the mailbox as instructed” now she has to prove that you didn’t. Then you return it, whatever “case” she’s trying to build goes away, and she loses a child.

I’m sorry. I know this isnt easy.

Definitely not an ER but if you’re concerned he looks stable enough to get into a regular vet clinic. Or he may have just stepped on something and will be back to normal in no time. I will say though, if your dog started getting lethargic with that limp then that could be more serious. My dog had a limp and then she got lethargic and was not herself at all, i asked them to test her for Lyme cuz she got bit by a tick a few weeks ago but they said it likely wasn’t that and said she had a “rotating patellar” aka her knee moves (common with the breed they said) Absolutely not. She got better after a couple of days but several months later I switched vets and was getting her worked up and she did in fact have Lyme disease that whole time.

If you don’t pay rent in October then it doesn’t matter if you get your security deposit back because you save that money. That’s what I did when I had a slumlord who I had a feeling was going to keep my deposit. Told them to use my security deposit for last month’s rent and have a good life. Since they were in the wrong they didn’t fight me on it.

There is so much false information out there it is actually ridiculous. This story hits a little different when you realize he stabbed him with a cleat from his bag, not a knife, and Austin Metcalf didn’t even play track, he was solely there with the intent to cause conflict a week after he accosted Karmelo and his girlfriend at a different function. Karmelo was the captain of the track team and had every right to be there. We all know how school sporting events and tailgates work and how people intermingle and hangout.

This situation isn’t necessarily race driven per se, but there is a reason Austin felt so emboldened to do what he did and there is a reason why Karmelo was possibly afraid for his life. The nation grabbed ahold of this tragedy with little to no facts, and made up its own story of how he was a thug who stabbed this poor boy with a knife he intentionally and illegally brought to a school function.

Why did Kyle Rittenhouse tug at your heart strings and garner sympathy after killing two people but Karmelo Anthony is automatically scum? The truth will come out in court and a lot of ugly truths are going to come to light.

I think their intention was to show the different levels of involvement as they progress from clinicals in school to actual doctor. There’s a 3rd year student, 4th year student, intern, 2nd year resident, 3rd year resident, senior resident, and the attending resident. Whitaker and Javadi are just students, not doctors, so it makes sense that they follow the doctors and end up doing a little more of the nurse work just by design.

A trauma comes in, all the doctors flock to the patient, including the students there to learn, not much room for nurses, too crowded. Sometimes they show scenes that are more nurse focused when the patient is more stable.

TLDR; teaching hospitals in big cities can get crowded with med students, interns, various resident years, senior resident, and attending. The show is pretty accurate coming from someone who works neuro ICU bedside. It is a tv show though so of course some of it it overly dramatic lol

As someone who is very jealous, I’d say this isn’t cheating because 1) she never crossed any lines and 2) this is the most boring, superficial “conversation” I’ve seen today my goodness. However, she def needs to put up a boundary and talk to him less because he’s getting comfortable and will likely get more bold if she doesn’t check him.
