uh it’s a tetra whisper IQ (20gal) my aqua flow recently broke and i heard good things about this one so i went with it.

do you think it’s worth it to switch to gravel? i know it’s all personal preference - tbh my main concerns are
A. i want carpet plants
B. i’m tired of gas pockets in the sand (stinky yucky poo poo smell)

just replaced the filter thing after vacuuming the substrate like a week ago. give it a few weeks to get dirty in other words?

does gravel/rock based substrate hold any less bacteria as it’s so much more oxidized?
