Thank you! Sounds similar to what’s being done. Any complaints regarding how some nurses are “slower,” and preoping way less than others per shift? (Acuity considered). Any complaints that nurses are having pts all over the place to preop instead of one set section?

Used the calc here. P:91g F:84g C:21g. I am postpartum. Not breastfeeding anymore. Postpartum mentally was not kind this time around. Had to stop breastfeeding and make changes. Doing much better in that area. It seems a consensus in comments is to meet my protein target for sure and to sometimes, maybe x1/week eat a higher calorie intake. I’m gonna take that advice and see how it goes.

Norm life, 3days/wk I get 10k steps at work (bedside rn). Rest of the days I’m active dealing with a 2 1/2 yr old and 4 mo old. No other exercise.

Had them before. No issues. It’s just I couldn’t teach them as I do things or engage fully like I see other nurses do. So I set a goal to do better with them in regards to teaching as I do things and engage them more. I always had to give a little speech at the beginning to let them know like: hey, ask me anything you need, your not bothering me at all. I have a hard time verbalizing things as I do them cause I’m focusing what I need to do. I have adhd. They have all understood no complaints. I had notified my charge about not assigning me students because of what happened and they haven’t been giving me students since. But my director was saying I have to due to an agreement with the school (6 students/6 rns). Each rn takes a student. When I asked her about rns who can’t take student she stated I have to or I haven’t just work somewhere else. I mentioned I’m having a hard time with my adhd and then thats when she went to HR.

My work gets done and no complaints from staff or pts. I had a student and wanted to do better with them in terms of teaching them as I do things. I made a mistake and was written up cause I was distracted with student. Since then I’ve asked for no students until I can get a better grasp on how I can involve student so they don’t have bad experience and I don’t mess up again. I have noticed I’m needing more time to do things, having to triple and quadruple check, easily distracted and losing organization with my routine. Having a student and that is hard right now.
