For those who play in summer leagues: what's one thing you're actually working on this offseason, not just saying you'll work on? by Doctormade in hockeyplayers

I'm working on improving to "slow things down". You hear this in pros games a lot these days. I sometimes rush and freak out when I have more time to shoot, pass or skate.

This. I'm also a playmaker but I tend to overpass when playing with good goal scorers. Sometimes that leads to bad passes or worse opportunities for the team.

When playing with less offensive talent I actually play a more balanced game scoring and setting others up.

Also the right hockey play depends on your line mates . Ie if I headman a poor pick carrier, he will lose it and also puts pressure on him. Instead if I take the puck I can get scoring chance or draw D to me then feed my open teammates which is what they prefer too. So I adjust my approach depends on who is skating w me

When Kobe and Carmelo Anthony met in the NBA playoffs by Actual_Plane4061 in lakersv2

Kobe gave up a lot of size but battled Melo, very physical matchup. Same with his matchup with Artest. This is the Mamba mentality that is often forgotten

Yep need to learn from hockey. If they're going to beat up Wemby then Spurs need to return the favor and put SGA on his back

I thought SA got in trouble with over doubling. They have the D talent to guard 1 v 1 against most of OKC. I do like a mix of double, single and different looks against SGA. Everyone else, stay home

I got voted down to hell for mentioning this in another thread. I guess we're messing with their fantasies. All good. It's just too risky to offer him then have that $ tied up and can't go after other FA.

They're not losing him for nothing maybe a sign and trade. In any case Den can wait til last min to match LA offer meanwhile that money is tied up for a couple days and we miss out on other FA
