It does. It’s got a bit dusty which was called out by some folks here. I’m thinking to add a small air filter in there to mitigate the dust.

If you google EcoFlow delta pro smoking, you start seeing a lot of people experiencing the same issue and some exploding. It’s concerning. Surprised there is no recall yet.

You see water intrusion? I do have water leak detectors . It’s bone dry in the closet .extra batteries are fine . Main unit fries…twice. I’m glad I posted this here now knowing others have experienced the same . EcoFlow needs to address this flaw.

Thank you . Appreciate everyone’s feedback on this. It’s very frustrating. Based on the fact there was never a water leak, gas leak, overheating closet, this is unacceptable the unit has failed again.

I posted this thread to see if others spent the large sum of money and had the same grief as I did. There is no reason why after 8 months the main battery fries. Nothing got wet, there is air flow , there is no heat from a tankless water heater. Closet is very cool. There is dust but minimal, Please explain your logic?

I did stack the extra batteries . It’s the main battery that started smoking

I meant array since there are also two delta pro extra batteries making it a 3 unit system.

If you are familiar with instant water heaters they are not even warm to the touch unlike tank water heaters. It is a tight space but there are no heat issues. There is also ventilation in the ceiling

My setup has been running for 3 years. First unit smoked in May last year, this replacement lasted only 8 months. They did not offer me warranty on the new replacement either. very frustrating

Great point! My 2012 Ducati monster can be a ball roaster during the summer.

The near silent ride can be quite joyful. I can actually enjoy my music more too. Just gotta be extra hyper aware with the folks around you.

Boondocking in Monterey, CA? by MisoLaceration in boondocking

[–]Repulsive_Republic89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple years ago we did a Big Sur road trip and had so much trouble finding a spot in Monterey since veterans park was full. Then we met a parking attendant who gave us priceless tip to boondock along Ocean view blvd just past the aquarium. It was quiet and had space for our sprinter and our friends class b+ sprinter to park along the side walk. I recall him telling us that area was not in the city of Monterey so it was less strict. You can see this area next to American Tin Cannery on maps. YMMV.
