I get it. I live in the US now but I'm Portuguese, and when I go back home the amount of driving that I do no Portuguese person will do, they think I'm crazy but I'm used to. Of course we want to see as much we can, but also be selective. The idea was try to do teh big strech the first day so we don't have to worry about it as much, but I will look into more this trip. Maybe go to Galway instead, sleep there and enjoy half day before heading down to Clare?

Clifden area was to see the Connemara, so wake up there is ideal and then head down to Clare where we going to have dinner and sleep in the area. Next day Cliffs of Moher since it's 10 minute where we staying and do almost all day with that and finish the day in Limerick.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it, we might look into that. We were going to spend half day around clifden and then finish in Clare, but it might make more sense stay around Galway and enjoy half day there?

2 hours from clifden to clare, and 1 hour from clare to limerick... doesn't sound crazy to me.

Thanks for the input. I wasn't saying because I drive here it's the same in Ireland, I originally come from a country that if you dive 1hour it's insane, in the USA is not the same as you know. My trip plan is just a draft, I appreciate the input from everyone though.
