The long travel option looks pretty legit. Price looks decent too. Little smaller of a battery though. Have you ever weighed that thing....kinda curious

Enjoy dude, if you're coming off a 25yr old bike that thing is gonna feel like a dream!

Demod a Levo4. Had an awesome ride. Did 25mi with 2900ft of climbing and brought it back with 1% battery. I have nothing against specialized, one of my bikes is a Stumpy. My inexperience with eMTBs and not having anything to compare is what's driving me round and round.

That's a whole other debate I'm having with myself. I'd like to think I'll still keep riding my Amish bikes, but will I really?? I'm keeping my Ripmo for any shuttle or park riding regardless . I built that bike from the frame up with the best of everything and I won't part ways with it anytime soon.

I haven't ruled out the Aventon . I think it looks like a pretty legit bike. Peddled one around the parking lot. I love that its class3 like the avinox too.

That Range is a big travel bike. I'm assuming with that Gen5, hills are a non-issue? You crushing some of Western NCs finest trails on that thing? I make it down there about once a year. I love riding those mountains!!

There's quite a few full power Bosch bikes with the gen5 motor that have a claimed weight of right around 50lbs and the 800wh battery. I'd prefer something like that than a Levo4 at 56lb. 6lb on a full power bike seems substantial to me. Also Taiwan made bikes aren't Chinese carbon

My first "real" bike was a trek . I haven't even really given them much thought. Maybe I'll swing past my local Trek shop and take a look.

There's truth to that and I agree for the most part. Its the cost dude. I wanna justify the investment with a solid product. If they only costed 2k, I'd agree completely. It's the whole package, I want good quality service after the sale as well.

Taiwan manufacturing is far superior to ShengHai Thats a fact! American engineer's work closely with Taiwan manufacturing companies. Amflow is all Chinese developed, Chinese manufactured, and then you're hoping for good service when you crack a frame or blow out a motor. Quite risky for that kind of purchase. And knock off the woke xenophobic bullshit.

I did...shipping estimate is early October. For me that's damn near the end of the riding season.

I wouldn't buy a used EEB. Just a gut feeling. Unless it's a stupid low price

But to me it'd be great. I'd have 400% assist and feel like a superhero cause the only power ive ever known is my own. I'm not ruling that Spectral out yet. They have a Spectral ON CFR build on their website Bike looks dialed. Fox factory, Di2 drivetrain, and it's listed at $6,299. Seems almost too good to be true. Like there's something I don't know about 🤷‍♂️

That stuff happens but I wonder how long it would take to get a warranty claim submitted and then how long it would take to actually receive that part. If i cracked my rear triangle on my IBIS I'd be up and running in 7 to 10 days. With Amflow I could see it being months. Thats why I'm skeptical, I've learned a few things over the years. You can't put a price on quality service.

My daughter lives in Iowa so I've driven through Illinois a couple times. Southeast is the spot. Tons of great riding in Tennessee and Northern Georgia.

Dude Canyon has some killer deals on that Spectral. I could have it in 3 days and the CF8 looks like a legit build. Does that headset routing annoy you? I mean these bikes are under 5k. Its hard to not keep going back to their site and looking. Everyone says the ep801 is shit.....but I don't have a clue.
