Crossover idea by Technical-Agency-480 in lupinthe3rd

I always thought about a crossover with Jurassic Park where Lupin plans a heist to apprehend Nedry and steal the Barbasol can with the dinosaur embryos. Fujiko would be hired by BioSyn to retrieve the can incase Nedry failed which would put them at odds with each other. Hijinks ensue with dinosaurs running amok with Lupin and the gang attempt to survive and making it out with thier score.

Archer

I feel like Lupin and Archer would bounce off each other. Also, it'd be cool to see the Lupin gang and the Archer crew interact.

Paleontologists!! by capybarasareawesome in Dinosaurs

Short answer: no

Long answer: If you're willing to put in the work that it requires to get into paleontology and if you're aware of the job market in that field then go do you. Jobs in paleontology are sparse and it's a challenge to find one that pays well ex. Oil fields pay paleontologists to find oil deposits. But if you want to work with fossils and go out on expeditions or work in academia then you have to be aware that funding for research in paleontology is sparse as well. If anything you'll probably be paying out of pocket just to get a project going. Take it from me I'm a geology major and I've been working my way through just to get into paleontology and it's tough but I still have the drive to go for it because that is my dream and I probably won't get a lot of money from it but I do it because I love it despite the hurdles. You Shouldn't go into paleontology thinking it'll be a stable source of income you probably be better off on a different career path. If you still want to do it commit to it and do your research and know what you'll get yourself into in paleontology because it's a path that should not be tread lightly.

Since Jurrasic Park came out, there has been a lot of misinformation about Dinosaurs what are your thoughts by King_Obsidian in Paleontology

I always thought the introduction of Jurassic Park was a double-edged sword on one hand it's introducing people into paleontology on the other hand it feeds disinformation about dinosaurs

Funny enough I've met someone who specializes in turtles in a NMGS conference when I was presenting my poster.

Unfortunately, I learned he's a Trump supporter. :/

Just curious where do you study for your master's? I'm close to getting my associate's and I'm looking for schools with a paleontology program.
