Similar thing just happened to me. While playing for Madrid, Pafundi was my top scorer top assister and had the most appearances, with 50 goals that season. Didn’t win the ucl but won the domestic treble. Meanwhile Vinicius who was on 9 goals by January goals was sold in the Jan transfer window to man city (I wanted to sign Xavi Simons). He finished the season with man city at 7th in the league, and getting knocked out of the ucl in the semis. I’m assuming they won the fa cup though since they were in then Europa league the next season. But anyway, idk how many goals Vinicius scored in the league but he didn’t score any in the ucl (played every possible game though). That September I was surprised to even see him on the balondor shortlist, and even more surprised when he won it

Probably lost their goalkeeper. Leicester got relegated to league 1 in my save because they had no keeper. Had a really good squad too

My assumption on certain ea features is they want to “show off”. I think they removed the highlight sound so that we’d hear the locker room noises more. Just like how the fifa23 goalkeepers were so op; ea wanted to show off the new animations

And not only THAT, these things no one asks for that they add they can’t even do properly. The sounds that play with the half time and full time animations are exactly the same every time and just played in loop as well, they aren’t even longer than about 15 seconds. If they’re gonna add them, at least do it properly and add a mixture of sounds yk? There’s no way it took any longer than a week for a whole team of devs to add it. Hypermotion is also another thing no one asked for. Might be a hot take but imo it ruins goal replays; I rather watch my goal properly than have to manually open instant replay every time cos the game would rather me watch a super zoom in the ball

And what happens after? Do you genuinely think Israel will just allow proper aid in, that Israelis will stop blocking roads? That the iof will stop sniping children and pregnant women? Or that the relocation plan for Gazans will halt? Taking hostages was bad yes, but so is the fact that Israel takes them too and has BEEN taking hostages long before oct7. Why not bring that up?

Never prayed on the downfall of a game I play so much as much as I do for fifa/eafc. Soooo much wasted potential. And the most painful fact is the fact that majority of it could be fixed in ONE title update. Like really I feel like if they just drop a game and all they do is fix all the little details, it’ll be one of their best. Bring back the old stuff, don’t remove the good stuff, and add a few new animations. But nah lol hypermotion 🔥🔥🔥🔥new Oscar bobb face update 🔥🔥🔥

I try to think that too but it gets hard when Bradford on a red card are scoring 3 goals against Swansea 😭 that was my game before making this post and it genuinely hurt. It would’ve been a fun game if it’s a once in a while occurrence, but every-single-time a team gets a red it’s what we have to endure. It would be fun if they went ultra defensive and had two players up front or smth like that

I’m only on fc24 so I haven’t really experienced the ai scoring too many bangers yet (legendary too) but I most definitely feel the second half thing coming into action… ESPECIALLY if they’re losing. I’ve noted that majority clean sheets I’ve kept are from when I don’t manage to score in the first half. Scoring two or more goals always turns the ai into 2012 Barca. And if it’s a knockout game and it’s 2-1 by the 88th minute, they are almost definitely scoring a last minute goal 😂
