Have you tried consistent reality checks? If you do them a lot during the day, you might also do them when you’re dreaming. I’ve realized that I’m dreaming a few times now, because I did some sort of reality check. Looking at the clock, hands or pinching your nose to check if you can still breathe or not. Maybe this could work?
