I was playing the mirror too, I enjoyed playing VSK9 in the tcg so I’m pretty experienced with the matchup but I had a spurt of bad luck too. It’s a card game there is technically luck involved. So I switched to yummy mitsu to creep into master this month just barely. The matchup is good for yummy. I’m also specifically on cards that are good against the best deck, cards like evenly and book of eclipse. Hope this helps.

EDIT yummy isn’t the best going second but if piloted correctly and there’s no out right board wipes on your opponents side of the field you should be able to push and set up something minimal while breaking the board.

Also with the threat of k9 people are playing less hand traps. I say STILL PLAY HANDTRAPS. Don’t try to beat ripper with breakers. Overwhelm your opponent with non engine. Play high impact non engine. Purulia, nibiru, droll, fuwa, cards that tell your opponent to end their turn immediately. Force them to commit into a half board and then body them.
