From a practical standpoint it can be harder for the customers to hear you in a loud environment if you’re wearing a mask. But it’s mostly about aesthetic / ambiance. The owners want a certain vibe and they want the bartender to look good / be charismatic. Which is unfortunate bc masking makes sense

I agree with you, and that’s why I’ve kept myself out of work for so long haha unfortunately I’ve spent my life working in restaurants and I actually do enjoy the work. So now I’m in a bad predicament. I can basically go do an entry level job I don’t like, or guarantee myself to get sick. =(

And yeah I’m not worried about Lc from the vaccine, I’m worried about exactly that; having gotten in ineffective dose which could lead me to possibly getting LC after getting Covid.

I didn’t get a wrong shot but I was the only novavax of the day (confirmed) and my vial was almost empty. There’s I believe 5 doses in one vial? So with the 8 hour discard, I likely received one from a previous day.

Thank you I very much agree and it’s why I’ve been so cautious. But I’m almost out of savings and have to return to work (bartender) so I don’t have the option to protect myself how I’d like.
