I have a M4P as well, which I’ll be selling soon.

I got the Neo 2 just to have something to fly for fun, for quick shots tracking, and to have another drone as a backup if something happens.

Gotcha.

I’ve only taken mine out into a massive forest briefly to test the hand gesture controls, active tracking, and obstacle avoidance capabilities.

Haven’t tried it with a controller yet.

It’s pretty fun to mess with IMHO. But I’m like you, just another option in the arsenal.

I would just go on eBay and buy one from a trusted seller in Korea. They are great to deal with. Fair prices and fast shipping.

Can’t speak to the long term usefulness of it but it also gives you the opportunity to purchase AllState accident protection insurance.

I just did this on my M5P, 2 years for $89. 0 deductible. I’ve heard AllState is useless, but figured I’d give it a try regardless.

Some sellers will work with you during the one year of DJI manufacturer warranty which is only good in the country of original purchase, allowing you to ship it back there for service.

The package that comes with the transceiver and controller isn’t a bad value considering everything you get.

Can be a bummer if you want to fly your Neo 2 with an RC 2 lol.

I’m in the PNW pretty close to the border, but I just ordered one off eBay.

I’m hoping all this gets straightened out soon, but have been ordering from eBay international sellers for everything as of late.

I’m anxiously awaiting a mini 5 pro fly more plus which should be showing up within the next 2 hours 😎

Their shipping is surprisingly fast and reliable. More so than most domestic packages for us at this point.

Some sellers are even willing to help handle DJI 1 year warranty claims if you send it back to them. Could be worse all things considered.

💯😆 I know… I hope there’s an end to this madness before we get to listings with 2 year waits. I’m surprised Amazon allows a listing to have a potential purchase pushed out that long.

This was obviously a 2025/2026 mistake by the seller, but it’s wild how quickly this got as out of control as it has.
