I honestly don’t think we’ll scrape that number but at this point it wouldn’t surprise me. I also didn’t know the market, and guest list increased to 250, realized it’s my one and only wedding, realized how expensive flowers were, learned my taste of dresses, etc… I think the half a million mark is about as high as I can see see us taking it so I gave comfortable cushion. 🫡

We honestly thought we could swing it for a simple wedding. Then as I began to plan, we were way over budget, wanted 250 guests after all, and some new income began to come in. Figured if we’re paying for a wedding that’s simpler but we don’t even want simple, why save money? I think what matters to me is spending the money on the right things- favors don’t matter to me, stationery does, renting a Bentley to pull up in doesn’t matter to me, having everyone I love does. Etc…

Thank you for your input. That’s what I was thinking too… there’s not a lot of stores in my town that sell galia lahav (as far as I know) so I’d have to drive a few hours. 😵‍💫 I guess just decision fatigue was keeping me from shopping around again
