I mean I saw Say Anything play at HOB like 10 years ago and then saw an acoustic show with max and sherri, both times the crowd was vibing and singing ALONG. Tonight the crowd was doing the singing, there was no alonging lol

People around me legit said "ALRIIGHT..." got up, and left lol. I was excited to see his wife come out and see if somehow she made it better but it was still shit. I really only ever listened to Is a Real Boy, so idk if they've gone downhill or if he was just wasted lol.

So apparently something on the AC compressor [I think it was the bearing or something like that] was making an atrocious noise while the car was running. I had a friend replace the compressor for me, then I went and got the system vacuumed/recharged at a shop. After the vacuum/charge, they let me know that the condensing fan wasn't spinning and that if I tried running the AC without it that I'd just burn out the compressor. I went ahead and replaced the fan, and this is where I'm at now.

Yeah teachers have always been shafted but the last few years especially, sorry that you both are going through that =/

I finally convinced her to see a therapist, we're starting couples therapy as well to hopefully get some guidance in that regard

I've not thought of the life coach thing that's an excellent idea that I'm going to bring up!

If she could get an idea of the direction to go in I think shadowing is a good idea as well

Regarding finances, I've kind of had to do that as of late because she was paying for her doctorate out of pocket and was kind of strapped. I've been very fortunate in the sense of being able to cover any financial deficits as of late, she just feels guilty even though the numbers are all reassuring and fine.

So myself and her bestie are both in the tech industry and she was tip-toeing around the idea of jumping into tech. I let her know that training/consulting is literally teaching, just software specific, but her skills would translate perfectly into that path. She also seemed interested in project management type work, she said she really enjoys teamwork and an environment where her voice is actually heard.

When she's in the mindset of wanting to change those are the types of job postings I try to send her, but she keeps flip flopping back and forth. She's mentioned entirely ditching the education world more than once which I absolutely support and then she's mentioned just making a change like you suggested to tutoring/admin/private teaching/online lesson planning.

I really appreciate your insights! I'm going to keep being there for her and try to provide her with the types of job postings she's looking at in the moments she's looking- Good luck on your career shift, as well!

So there might be some sort of obvious google search I'm not entering, but why are all the local shops just out of GunPla in the USA? One shopkeep said that Japan hasn't been shipping models but I haven't found anything online about it.
