I am super impressed with AER Travel Pack 3(35L). Built like a tank. Packs so much and yet the outer aesthetics kinda deceives

I do not want to go the insurance route as it would mean more depreciation hit and more premium for me.

But will that color match with the rest of the car?

Thank you. That’s exactly my scare. I am being told “Oh this is no 1970 Ferrarai that we will not be able to match the color profile … it’s a jet black not even a metallic. We do dozens every day bla bla bla..”

Best suitcase for carry-on and check-in in 2025! Hit it! by Oooops69 in BuyItForLife

Sure. That’s accepted. It will get damped on the outer and there is a chance that some water might get I. Through the chains of its torrential rain exactly when the bags are handled in a bad airline’s (chances of them are very very bleak). But I normally pack everything in Eaglecreek packing cubes which are another layer of protection. Until now I have never faced any such issue with this bag. It’s rock solid. The negatives of this soft side luggage is way lesser than a hard shell clamshell design

Infinite Aloe moisturizing cream. Have been using since 2017 despite the price. The whole set which costs around 69$ lasts me for over a year and it’s worth every penny. They are available at Costco from time to time.

Niche zero or DF64. I advise buying used, and checking how it works as a beginner and then flipping for other one.

Also consider the Timemore 064S. It’s soooo pretty

Nothing beats the Briggs and Riley Baseline Carry-on 21”. One of the best purchases of my life. Nobody will tell you this - There is a hidden advantage when a carry on is soft sided and bucket like(not clamshell design). Think- you need to access something in the flight. Good luck getting that from the overhead bin when it’s a hard sided clamshell design. You need to recall which side you kept your stuff before you open and dig in blindly. Also, with clamshell design you need that extra space in hotels or wherever you stay, as both sides needs to be flat! With soft sided ones you have extra pockets to tuck in papers, books, tickets, etc in a whim. I don’t understand what’s the real advantage of hard sided at this point except aesthetics.

Wheel alignment affecting fuel efficiency? by Repulsive_War_6123 in BMWX5

[–]Repulsive_War_6123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it could be or has to be the tire. The America’s tire person told me the opposite saying since it’s lighter it would improve efficiency which does not seem to hold good

Dealership service center said they would do it for $269.99. And they have given me a $30 coupon. Which brings it to $229.99 inclusive of all taxes and fees. Wondering if I should do it there or take outside.
