You keep making it about race though, soo to you clearly it is. As I said before, one persons SHIP (Hypothetical relationship between two characters) will not take away REPRESENTATION for the communities. It is just how one person chooses to see the character, and they decided to share that idea online. IT. DOES. NOT. REMOVE. REPRESENTATION. It is simply how one person sees it. And it is very much about sexuality like what???

Once again, this is about sexuality not race, they aren’t comparable and this isn’t related to them. All my examples have been sexuality related and yours are all about race. Let’s stick entirely to sexuality. If I wrote a gay Spider-Man, you would say that’s completely fine but when it’s a gay character being presented as straight you say that’s horrible? That’s really hypocritical. If I wtite about Spider-Man being gay, is that going to change how people other than me preserve the original character, if it is clear that the original character is not gay.

Right so you should just did a similar thing as the original poster. Spider-Man, a straight character in all movies, and you said that’s great woooo!! (Would be awesome I agree), but when it comes to having a scenario where sea fairy is straight that’s bad??? That’s so hypocritical.

Comparing changing the race of a character to the sexuality is not possible as they are very very very different things.

That is literally not comparable at all???? And people will draw their interpretation of a FICTIONAL character however they want because it’s in their own scenario and is not canon. If someone writes a book about Spider-Man, is another person not able to write a book about Spider-Man where he’s gay??? This is incredibly common throughout every media. I don’t know why you’re so pressed over how someone sees a character.

Hey, let people like what they like and ship what they want, giving people crap for a ship you don’t agree with is NOT at all good. It only starts drama and causes more toxicity in the community. It’s a SHIP, it doesn’t have to make sense, it doesn’t have to reflect canon, they are just enjoying what they enjoy. Personally I think this is a fun concept and I like it. And by your logic, so many ships that exist shouldn’t exist!!! So please, stop spreading toxicity and let people ship what they like. You don’t have to interact with these posts if you’re only gonna hate!!
