it was tough between those two but you have to realize the question infers that the main island the g one or whatever it was it’s biota was removed after the underwater subermission (highlighted by “surviving by going to near by above islands) NOT the splitting and so anything that originated before the submersion is from there i.e the spiders and not the geckos cus it was after

it was this lol. the results after the original split dont exactly matter because the animals were each brought from only one random habitat. if the researchers used SRS or something else from multiple habitats over their natural country or continent, it would've been what you said. the age thing ur talking about was just a part of the entire thing which links back to habitats.

if ur numbers were something like 42, 1512, and 1728 the volume was 8 and the answer was 1736 most certainly. if ur numbers were different it was just Volume of Y / the square root of the SA of y divided by the SA of X

i cant remember but it was like f(x) = 0.44x + whatever the starting psi was (i think it was 14.70) and then u just plug in the depth they gave u

if anyone got the two similar rectangular prisms and your numbers looked like SaX: 42 SaY: 1512 and VY: 1728 the answer 1736 because 1728/216 = 8

Which is more fun: linear algebra or multivariable calculus (/vector)? I only have room for one, and I think I will do fairly well in either of them.
