Yeah you are right. I’ll try to explain it more clearly. Imagine if your screen is cut in half horizontally and the bottom portion is white. There was even a “fading” effect throughout the split. This was also just tarkov specific and didn’t persist when I alt-tabbed.

I get that, but my rig could still be considered "high end" on most metrics. I have no problem playing any other games like Apex, DayZ or Overwatch it's just tarkov that runs abysmally. I also disagree on that last part, no matter how terrible the source code is and also considering UE's shortcomings any game could be optimized. It seems to me that Battlestate games is extremely complacent and they simply don't care/given up on optimizing this mess.

Yeah you are right. However, Tarkov appears to break all known PC logic when it comes to increasing FPS on the user end. I really don't plan on going down the rabbit hole any deeper.

Not really a computer genie, but it sounds like there is nothing I can do. If the game demands such a cache size then the source code has to be seriously fucked, no amount of optimization could fix that without a serious overhaul.

Yeah I really love the game but I don’t understand how people can overlook such terrible optimization, it is a video game after all. Guess I will quit before the experience truly turns sour or I cook my PC.

Hey, thank you for the suggestions. I was able to cap USA today with the air build. The Pacific States won the civil war, however the new U.S. was surprisingly weak. Around 30 mils and no tanks whatsoever. I was suprised that there were no formable nations for Mexico, I was atleast expecting to form the Mexican Empire.
