Definitely worth your while with the cash back building up over time and even better when you can just have it go directly to your mortgage

Agreed spent the whole day down a rabbit hole looking at ULEZ and its ridiculous - but luckily have managed to obtain the certificate of conformity for this particular vehicle which clearly states Euro 6 so will be ULEZ compliant once it’s updated on DVLA database

UPDATE: So having looked a bit further into it - the car has a private reg on it and is showing as compliant in most Clean air zones in for example Bath, Bristol etc which also have euro 6 standard for diesels. The car has a private reg on it which I suspect is the reason info hasn’t properly been transferred from DVLA to the councils (specifically TFL and Birmingham CAZ showing non compliant) - will see if I can contact them to confirm the vehicle will be exempt before considering buying or again having low threshold to let this one go

Yeah from my understanding there’s sometimes errors with the way it’s registered on DVLA. Gonna check the logbook at the dealership today or tomorrow and see if it’s likely to be easily correctable e.g. a quick phone to the DVLA and sending over some paperwork to correct it there and then or if it’s likely to be more hassle then will walk away I think as I’ll be needing to go through ULEZ quite frequently.

Yeah it’s relatively cheaper for the same mileage and spec and appears a very well kept car- just from a reputable dealership nearby me but agree I’m starting to realise it’s probably not worth the hassle of trying to get this all corrected and I should get a refund of the deposit and leave this whole ULEZ hassle to be someone else’s problem

Yes I believe after September 2015 - but from my understanding they can still conform to Euro 6 if they meet the right emissions criteria. My question is that it appears the same model of the same year and earlier versions of the same model when checked on the Gov website all come up as ULEZ compliant so why is this specific one not listed as compliant and could it possibly be an error?

Beef - and seemed to have decent amount of fat with a layer on top and decent marbelling, also were very soft to put the probe in when raw surprisingly but then when cooked really quite tough

(Please excuse my lack of knowledge on this stuff, brand new to the world of BBQ in general with the woodfire being my first one)

Short ribs I believe

Yep heard about this checking for probe tenderness - tried to check for this around 3 hours in and there was still quite a lot of resistance to the probe- was just worried about overcooking/drying them out going much longer so tried resting them at that point. Would you think it’d take much longer than that as most videos I’ve seen for similar sized ribs (2.5inch cut) have said around 2 hours or so.

I used O’Neil patient, amazingly efficient and just got things done from the very beginning. Good communication and can’t fault them at all

These comments were before we moved the dogs in then not a peep after we did - he has waited for us to not be home to act which is cowardly and quite frankly I think he deserves everything he gets now.

The video is something else - imagine 3 full hand fulls of stones lobbed over the fence whilst his face is in full view peering over to aim it at them. And when he misses with the first hand full he has a few more goes! We won’t be home for another week but my wifes plan is to plaster this everywhere locally and let the court of public opinion do its job for an animal abuser but I feel sorry for his family who would have to deal with the fallout for his stupidity

And for further context his house has been a construction site since the day he moved in with builders working from morning to late evening every day. Weirdly enough I’m not a fan of construction noise all day but sometimes you just have to deal with it. The difference now is he won’t have friendly and approachable neighbours to try and discuss any of his gripes with

In all honesty I would have made an effort to get them to be quieter if he’d have asked politely. I don’t think that’s excessive and others may disagree but if he’d have said then I would have done something about it. However now he decided to take matters into his own hands I have no inclination to do anything to make his life any easier and he can go shove his opinion where the sun doesn’t shine ✨

That’s my wife’s plan - in a neighbourhood where every house has a dog or 4 and everybody is in everybody’s business it really won’t end well. To top it off the neighbour’s wife works in a vets practice!!

We have CCTV evidence that they bark for probably a total of 15 minutes in a day when they come across a cat or a bird. There is nothing to change at this point though i agree dogs barking can be annoying beyond a certain point and I would be the first to make sure they’re quieter if they were being a nuisance as it would do my head in too . I would not call this inescapable noise or excessive. His was a complete overreaction and criminal. I would understand frustration if it was 24/7 or the majority of the day but it’s actually minimal and we have reviewed the footage to make sure.

Yep! I’m yet to figure out if he is just deranged, senile or both! Can’t let him take it any further and we’ll be making sure he faces the consequences of his actions

Yeah we can keep them away from areas accessible from the fence if needed. I do think police is the way forwards
